Judy Noble

March 8, 1938 ~ November 11, 2018 (age 80)

Mary Judith “Judy” Noble, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 11, 2018 surrounded by her family.  She was born March 8, 1938 in Minneapolis, Kansas and was the daughter of the late Jack and Marie (Morton) Gardinier.  Judy was a member of St. John XXIII in Canal Winchester and was retired from Amanda Clearcreek Schools where she served as clerk.  Judy devoted her life to her faith, husband and family.  She was a shepherd that embodied many of the same characteristics of Jesus Christ.  She led many people to follow Christ including her husband and she was a living example of God’s work.  Judy shared love through her love of cooking.  From potato salad to homemade pies, if Judy cooked it, it was delicious.  Family or not, everyone was welcome around her table, in her house and in her life.
She lived her life for her family beginning with her soul mate and love of her life of 62 years, Gene.  Their marriage was the epitome of unconditional love.  Judy would tell anyone who would listen that she knew Gene was the man she would marry the first night they met.  Together they built a life based on love, respect and faith.  They were abundantly blessed with seven children, Joe (Susan) Noble, Susie Noble, Jeff (Doreen) Noble, Sharon (Kevin) Davis, Sandy (Jimmy) Davis, Scott (Cindy) Noble and Jerry (Tammy) Noble; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren with one on the way. Family often included a beloved wiener dog that held a special place in Judy’s heart.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Gardinier. The world is a better place because Judy was in it.  She will forever live in the hearts of those who loved her most.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at St. John XXIII Church, 5170 Winchester Southern Rd., Canal Winchester with Fr. Brian O’Connor, Celebrant.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio.  Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda.  A vigil service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday with Rosary immediately following at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to St. Baldrick’s Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research,  1333 South Mayflower Avenue, Suite 400 Monrovia, CA 91016 or at stbaldricks.org in memory of Judy and in honor of her great granddaughter, Ava Grace Gunn.
