Alisha Jean "Tish" Schuman

Alisha Jean "Tish" Schuman, 49, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 2, 2013. She was born November 4, 1963 in Willoughby and was the daughter of Al Schuman and Jean (Peters) Nye. Tish was a 1982 graduate of Amanda-Clearcreek High School. She was a purchasing coordinator for McGraw Hill Education in Columbus and was currently attending Central Ohio Technical College.
She is survived by two sons, William Parrish and Steven Lemmon both of Newark; grandson, Layton Parrish; mother, Jean Nye of Amanda; father, Al (N. Jean) Schuman of Laurelville; brother, Bruce Schuman of Zephyr Hills, Florida; sisters, Kimberly Schuman of Nelsonville and Catherine (Aziz) Turkoglu of Lancaster; step brothers, Bob (Judy) Nye of Logan; Mike Nye of South Carolina, Jim (Denise) Nye of Stoutsville and Don "Skip" (Chris) Beeman of Trenton; step sisters, Darlene Gose of Circleville and Ronnelle (Ron) Atwood of Londonderry; uncle, Douglas Schuman of Madison and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Louie & Marcile Peters; paternal grandparents, Albert W. & Francis Schuman; brother, Matthew Schuman and step father, Doyle Nye.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda, Ohio with cremation to follow.
