Jack Left San Bernardino City Fire Department shortly before I joined in 1973. My Father Inlaw, Doyle Flinn was a good friend of Jack and his family so Natalie grew up around them.

In his later years Jack was our go to guy for contacting retired firefighters when important news arose, such as the passing of a member. About two years ago I assumed this role as Jack was no longer able to do it.

Jack will be missed by all that knew him and we send our kind regards to the family.

Jack was on of the easiest guy you could work with. I never heard him complain and he was great to live with for 24 hours at a time. He was a sample of how a fireman should be. Even when his health started getting to him, I never heard him complain. He dearly loved his family and he had a great since of humor. There are lots of things to say about him. I am beyond glad to have had him in my life. There will never be another Jack.

Please accept my condolences. I knew Jack when he was a member of the Amanda Clearcreek Board of Education. I developed great respect for him and his sincere care of the school and teachers where I taught at that time. He was fair and considerate. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.
